The Story Behind Our Theater Group
"It all started when a couple homeschool moms suggested I teach Theater at our then homeschool collaborative. Although my family had been involved in public high school and community theater for years, including my hubby and I since high school, actually teaching the subject had not been on my radar. So, 'Thespians 4JC' birthed. Classes were established and grew, shows came together, and a new program was pioneered. The name was changed, t-shirts were made, and New Life Dramatics was officially born. Founded in 2022 and based in Huntsville, AL, our Theater Group is a devoted community of enthusiastic families that love Jesus and theater arts. New Life Dramatics’ production of Fiddler on the Roof Jr. brought the story of Anatevka to life with a talented cast full of heart, humor, and energy. The young performers explored themes of family, community, and resilience, creating moments that were both joyful and moving. Through music, movement, and heartfelt performances, they invited audiences into the world of Anatevka, leaving a lasting impression and celebrating the magic of theatre for all ages.
